Choker Close-ups.. eventDV, Laura Moses

I've only had time to glance over a couple of articles in the latest eventDV issue (still haven't finished last month's!!), but there are at least a couple of gems here.

The first one I noticed is this article from Laura Moses of Vantage Point Produtions. As a photographer in training, several decades ago, much ado was made about how to pose people based on their sex, build, age, etc., to make them look their best.

I received similar emphasis in my film training. I know I didn't go through a formal, conventional video training but I doubt there is much I haven't read and surprisingly, there just doesn't seem to be much out there about this issue.

Therefore, hats off to Ms. Moses for this great tip and reminder that we need to think about these things while we shoot. If you don't read anything else this month, do read this article!
