Take Over This Site!

I have retired.  This would be a great site for your club or non-profit wedding videography organization to take over.

I will gladly turn this site over to a suitable club or other non-profit - at no charge!  I will consider sale to a commercial organization also.

Still can't decide between CMOS and CCD?  Anthony Burokas "CCD Versus CMOS" article may be a tad late, but it is the best I've read on the subject - don't miss it!

Kelly's "thenonlinear editor" seemingly didn't have enough interesting content to go the full two pages, but check out http://filmfellas.tv when you get the chance.

I checked out the tenth episode. The editing is terrible, with needlessly quick and numerous cuts, so you may want to cover the window and just listen like it was a podcast.  Even then, it would be nice to have a more edited version, it's difficult to keep a live conversation between four people, lively, but there is occasionally interesting stuff here.

"Cinevate Pegasus camera dolly system", by Ron Dawson, is written from the perspective of a small video production company, and the thing is fairly affordable($770), so I think most of you will find it interesting.  If you're doing business shoots, or even if you aspire to do business shoots, some sort of dolly system is a must.

Among the trade magazines I get each month, is "Digital Video" magazine.  Typically they have a review or two; cover a trade show; cover a doc or indy shoot and perhaps a how-to.  Oh, and something else..

Games for YOU!

A new feature we've added is games with wedding videography as the theme.  We'll try and change the crossword and hangman each month.  We're working on a "Concentration" game, but it'll take time to come up with all the wedding video related images.  Probably sometime in August.  Comments?  Suggestions?  Email me and we'll get you registered in our forums where you can post your ideas.
